THE LITTLE FELLA: A SOMEWHAT SURPRISING TRAVEL - 48HR Film Challenge (2023)
A simple premise, go out and shoot a short film in 48hrs! what could possibly go wrong…
Our challenge was to create a badly dubbed film and include the phrase “We’re thinking of one” into the story.
We settled on a terribly dubbed scouse version of The Hobbit – named The Little Fella.
When recording we used the actually lines from The Hobbit: A Somewhat Surprising Travel but dubbed it with both terrible accents and generalisations about Liverpool.
I thoroughly enjoyed getting stuck into the editing and creating of this film! We shot our footage on a Blackmagic Pocket Cinema 6k Pro at 4k Resolution. This was the first time I had used this camera; its interface was easy to get to grips with and its colour codec made the footage look amazing!
